Changes To Chat
Hello Everyone!
We wanted to touch base with everyone concerning our weekly and monthly chat sessions.Since we re-instated the Chat Room and a monthly and weekly chat we’ve noticed attendance varies from week to week. Because one of us (Jan, Kay or Noel) moderates the room, we have to be available on those nights and due to our busy schedules that is becoming increasingly difficult. So, between low attendance and our scheduling conflicts we have decided to end our Official Chat night and our monthly International Chat.
What does this mean?
The chat room will remain open and available for everyone 24/7, however organized chats by us will not take place. So, if you want to talk with fellow Steve fans, we are going to leave it up to you to organize the day and time. Having said that, there are some things you need to be aware of:
- The Guidelines for the Chat Room still apply
- You do not have to inform us when you are having a chat – the room
is there for your use, enjoy it!
- We will have certain organized chats in the future (holidays,
Steve’s Birthday, Site Anniversary, etc) and you
will be informed well in advance of the time and day.
- The room produces a transcript of all activity – so we will be
able to monitor, if needed, what goes on and if
abuse is found, there will be disciplinary action taken
If problems or concerns happen in the room while we are not there, we ask that you let us know by e-mailing us immediately and then simply leaving the room. We will address the concern as soon as possible.
